Job Title: Cloud Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Architect to join our technology security team. As a Cloud Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable, cloud-native and hybrid systems.

  • Cloud Architecture:
    • Design and implement cloud architecture solutions that meet business requirements.
    • Develop and maintain cloud infrastructure.
  • Network Architecture:
    • Design and implement network architecture solutions that meet business requirements.
    • Develop and maintain network infrastructure.
  • IT Leadership & Governance:
    • Provide strategic guidance on the selection and integration of technology solutions.
    • Collaborate with senior leaders to maintain sustainable, secure IT architecture.
  • Optimisation & Risk Management:
    • Monitor and optimize cloud configurations to balance cost and performance.
    • Advocate for emerging technologies that deliver value.
  • Operational Support:
    • Provide expertise in resolving issues within the cloud environment.
    • Ensure high availability and disaster recovery for critical applications.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in Microsoft Azure architecture and management (AWS/GCS experience is a plus).
  • Deep knowledge of Azure services (e.g., Virtual Machines, Networking, Security) and infrastructure as code tools (e.g., ARM, Terraform, Ansible).
  • Strong understanding of virtual network design and physical networking.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Technology.
  • Azure Solutions Architect Expert or equivalent certification is a plus.
