Cloud Engineer Job Description

The Australian Signals Directorate (ASD) is seeking highly skilled individuals to fill the role of Cloud Engineer. The successful candidate will work closely with engineering teams and platform stakeholders to ensure that cloud-based infrastructure meets business requirements and functional specifications.

This position requires strong expertise in designing, developing, deploying, and managing cloud-based infrastructure and applications. Additionally, proficiency in scripting and programming languages, automation tools, containerization, and DevOps practices is essential.

  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, deploy, and manage cloud-based infrastructure and applications.

  • Develop and implement effective strategies for optimizing cloud performance and configuring cloud resources.

  • Ensure compliance with national security regulations and industry standards.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to optimize cloud environments, troubleshoot issues, and support continuous delivery of software.
