Azure Cloud Engineer - Design and Implement Scalable, Secure Azure Infrastructure Environments is a key role in our organization.
This position requires a strong understanding of cloud computing principles and the ability to design and implement scalable, secure infrastructure environments on Azure.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with designing cloud frameworks aligned with industry standards, developing policies, and implementing automation to support enterprise-scale cloud adoption and operations.
- Develop and maintain governance frameworks including policy design, naming conventions, tagging strategies, cost management, and compliance monitoring.
- Define and enforce Azure Policy and management group hierarchies across enterprise subscriptions.
- Build AI-driven and automated self-service provisioning solutions using tools such as Azure Automation, Azure Open AI, and Logic Apps.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code using PowerShell, Bicep, and Terraform.
- Build and manage CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure deployment using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
- Collaborate with architecture, DevOps, and security teams to ensure alignment with industry standards and organizational goals.
- Support and enhance Business-as-Usual (BAU) Azure infrastructure operations, including monitoring, patching, and environment lifecycle management.
- Apply foundational systems administration skills across Windows, Linux, and Active Directory to troubleshoot and support cloud-hosted workloads.
- Continuously improve internal processes, reusable templates, and automation patterns to drive operational efficiency.
- Maintain clear and up-to-date documentation and facilitate knowledge sharing across teams.
- Mentor junior engineers, lead technical workshops, and participate in architecture review sessions.

- Support BAU Azure infrastructure operations.
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of cloud computing principles.
- Hands-on experience with designing cloud frameworks.
- Experience building Azure landing zones and automation templates.
- Proficient in scripting with PowerShell and Bicep.
- Strong understanding of core Azure services – compute, networking, identity, storage, monitoring, and security.
- Familiarity with or exposure to AI-driven automation in Azure.
- Experience with CI/CD tooling for infrastructure deployments.
- Working knowledge of Windows and Linux systems administration, along with Active Directory fundamentals.
