About the Role
">We are seeking a Senior Facilities Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day running of both hard and soft services, organising the site team and supply chain to meet contractual outputs and objectives of each account.
">- You will have full accountability and ownership of the staff on the accounts from Facilities Managers to technician, recruiting, retaining, appraising, and leading as required.
- The role involves managing and having accountability for the P&L and maintaining agreed profit margins.
- You will also assist in the preparation of standard operating procedures, emergency, and contingency plans.
- An important aspect of this role is ensuring the provision of healthy and safe working conditions and regularly reviewing the H&S policy.
- You will consult detailed contract reviews for each account and own CBRE standard procedures.
- This position requires exploiting opportunities for the strategic development of the contract to deliver increased turnover and profitability, and making sure that contracts are re-won on re-tender.
- You will develop, implement, and monitor yearly service plans, KPIs, targets, and financial plans.
- A key part of this role is building a relationship with the client to become the first point of contact for any works and all aspects of contract problems (defects & deficiencies) on their sites.
- You will deliver effective business communication through advice, review, leadership, and direct contribution to management and team meetings.
- Demonstrating a willingness to attend on- and off-site training for plant and systems as they are installed may require nights away from home.
Requirements
">- You must have a minimum 6 years proven experience in a property-based senior facilities role with experience in managing and developing geographically disbursed teams.
- A driver's license is required for travel.
- You should have a good understanding of financials, specifically budget preparation, managing a portfolio to a budget, fulfilling reporting requirements, project, and service-related financial management.
- People management experience and good negotiation and influencing skills are essential.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills are required.
- You should have a good working knowledge of the current Health & Safety at work Act.
- The ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex documents requires advanced analytical and quantitative skills.
- Advanced skills with Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, and the ability to use work order management systems are necessary.
- A working knowledge of architectural, electrical, and mechanical systems, as well as leases, contracts, and related documents, is beneficial.
