Early Childhood Sector Expert

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Early Childhood professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record of guiding and empowering early childhood educators, with a strong commitment to capacity building in the early to middle childhood sector.

This role involves providing specialist support to both internal and external stakeholders, facilitating professional development and offering formalised mentoring. You will work collaboratively with Approved Providers and Service Leaders to develop and implement comprehensive training plans, including individual educator mentoring plans.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing proposals within a project management approach
  • Proactively developing and supporting a pipeline of engaged and potential clients
  • Mentoring and supporting a range of stakeholders, including Service Leaders, Approved Providers, and Committees
  • Collaborating with Approved Providers and Service Leaders to develop and implement comprehensive service-wide training plans
  • Providing training and guidance on effective and sustainable Early Childhood Governance for standalone and not-for-profit services
  • Supporting corporate organisations seeking expertise in navigating the ECEC sector
  • Active participation in the planning and delivery of scheduled events, conferences, forums, workshops, and blogs
  • Maintaining currency in knowledge and actively participating in the development of new branded products and contextualisation of training learning resources
Requirements
  • Extensive experience in the Early Childhood sector, with a strong understanding of the National Quality Framework and National Quality Standards
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with a strong commitment to collaboration and partnership
