We are seeking a Lead Educator to join our Early Childhood team.

As a Lead Educator, you will be responsible for designing, implementing and evaluating developmentally appropriate programs for children, while also providing a safe, respectful and inclusive environment for all.

You will work as part of a diverse team, adapting to various situations and needs that arise in an early childhood setting.

The successful candidate will possess a Diploma Qualified or Bachelor of Early Childhood Education qualification, along with a current and valid Working With Children Check or ability to obtain one. First Aid Certificate including training in asthma and anaphylaxis is also essential.

Key skills and attributes include the ability to understand developmental milestones and needs of children in various age groups, and to provide a supportive and inclusive team environment.

Educational Requirements:

  • Diploma Qualified in Early Childhood Education and Care or Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (or an equivalent).

Certifications:

  • First Aid Certificate including training in asthma and anaphylaxis.
  • Working With Children Check or ability to obtain one.

  • Ability to provide a safe, respectful and inclusive environment for all children.
  • Understanding the developmental milestones and needs of children in various age groups.
  • Capability to design, implement and evaluate developmentally appropriate programs for children.
  • Ability to work as part of a diverse team.
  • Adaptable to various situations and needs that arise in an early childhood setting.

Familiarity with the national early learning framework for children from birth to five years is desirable, as well as understanding of the standards and assessment process to ensure quality service. Proficiency in using computers and relevant software to document children's learning and development is also beneficial.
