About this role

As a Procurement and Contracts Officer, you will be responsible for monitoring and managing multiple tasks simultaneously, ensuring accurate and up-to-date data entry and tracking of procurement activity and contracts.

  • Monitor and manage multiple tasks simultaneously, ensuring accurate and up-to-date data entry and tracking of procurement activity and contracts.
  • Provide proactive administrative and operational support daily by monitoring procurement activity in the procurement mailbox.
  • Maintain records, reports, databases and audit documents ensuring compliance with records management requirements, agency and procurement policies.

You will work within tight timeframes, changing deadlines to deliver priorities and workload. Your strong communication, organisational and time-management skills will enable you to effectively collaborate with internal teams, business stakeholders and external entities to achieve service delivery outcomes.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Demonstrated experience working with a Financial Management Information System.
  • High level of computer proficiency, including but not limited to the Microsoft Office Suite of programs.
  • Well-developed communication, organisational and time-management skills.

What we offer

The salary range for this position is APS4 $80,643 - $87,558 per annum plus 15.4% superannuation.
