About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled Product Owner to lead our New Distribution Capability (NDC) product development. As a key member of our Distribution team, you'll be responsible for driving the strategy and execution of our NDC product roadmap, ensuring it meets the objectives set in our Distribution strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Convert the NDC product roadmap into an actionable backlog for delivery, prioritizing quarterly to meet objectives.
  • Lead the team's delivery, ensuring they know what to focus on and have enough detail and runway to deliver.
  • Identify, define, and improve broken, fragmented, or non-functional experiences in the NDC distribution channel.
  • Review all requests from the Manager, Retailing Platforms, including dependencies.
  • Generate a preliminary list of features, including customer-centric, business-mandatory, and non-functional requirements.
  • Define high-level sprint goals using performance against service level objectives as key inputs.
  • Prioritize sprint drops based on effort and impact on product goals, including calculated trade-offs on technical debt and non-functional requirements.
  • Review and approve story/task-level product requirements.
  • Set acceptance criteria for features and go/no-go criteria for solution go-to-market.
Requirements
  • Expert knowledge in airline product development with a proven track record in delivering complex projects.
  • Versed in working in an agile environment, leading agile projects, and cross-functional teams.
  • Highly developed stakeholder management skills with the ability to interact at all levels of a complex organization and with external stakeholders.
  • Data-driven approach using analytics to identify opportunities to improve capabilities.
