Asset System Administrator

We are seeking an experienced Asset System Administrator to join our IT department at Nillumbik Shire Council. As an integral member of our team, you will play a key role in maintaining our asset management systems and ensuring their optimal performance.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and support the operation and ongoing improvement of council Asset Management system Brightly/Assetic.
- Project manage asset-related system enhancements, including timeframe management, stakeholder engagement, workshop facilitation, documentation, user acceptance testing, and training.
- Build and maintain working relationships with business users and provide training and support.
- Contribute to the IT team's efforts by assisting with GIS tasks and general application projects as needed.
- Demonstrated experience with the management and configuration of asset systems.
- Demonstrated ability to apply problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Experience in project management, including stakeholder engagement, workshop facilitation, documentation, user acceptance testing, and training.
- Knowledge of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and SQL database systems highly desirable.
- Experience with Brightly/Assetic asset management software highly desirable.
- Permanent full-time position.
- Competitive salary package of between $103,446.74 and $112,563.70 total remuneration per annum, including 11.5% super, annual leave loading, and monthly RDO.
