About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Asset System Administrator to join our IT department at Nillumbik Shire Council. As an integral member of our team, you will play a key role in maintaining our asset management systems and ensuring their optimal performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and support the operation and ongoing improvement of council Asset Management system Brightly/Assetic.
  • Project manage asset-related system enhancements, including timeframe management, stakeholder engagement, workshop facilitation, documentation, user acceptance testing, and training.
  • Build and maintain working relationships with business users and provide training and support.
  • Contribute to the IT team's efforts by assisting with GIS tasks and general application projects as needed.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience with the management and configuration of asset systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Experience in project management, including stakeholder engagement, workshop facilitation, documentation, user acceptance testing, and training.
  • Knowledge of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and SQL database systems highly desirable.
  • Experience with Brightly/Assetic asset management software highly desirable.
