About the Opportunity:

Northcott is seeking enthusiastic and motivated Support Workers to join our Wagga Wagga team on a casual basis. Reporting to the Coordinator, you will be required to support customers with opportunities to reach their individual goals through meaningful activities.

This role would be suited to those with a genuine desire to promote the independence and inclusion in society of people with disability or developmental delay as well as a desire to support individuals to have a voice, choice, and exercise control over their own lives to achieve their individual goals.

The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated commitment to supporting and promoting the individual needs of our customers, with the ability to develop positive relationships and support their individual care plans as appropriate.

The successful candidate will possess experience supporting customers with psychosocial disability, dementia, Intellectual disability, Acquired brain injuries, epilepsy and behaviours of concern.

A current Driver's Licence is also essential, along with a NSW Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain), NDIS Worker Check (or willingness to obtain) and NDIS Worker Orientation Certificate - 'Quality, Safety & You'. A Current First Aid and CPR certificate (or willingness to obtain) is also a requirement.
