Job Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing person-centred support to participants, focusing on their individual needs, preferences, and goals. This may include assistance with daily activities, personal care, mobility support, emotional support, household tasks, transportation, medication management, social support, community engagement, financial support, employment support, and participant plans.
Key Responsibilities:
Providing high-quality care and support services to participantsAssisting with daily activities, including meal preparation, personal care, and mobility supportSupporting participants with their personal care needs, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toiletingManaging medication and assisting with medication remindersAccompanying participants to medical appointments, social outings, and other activitiesProviding emotional support and companionship to participantsAssisting with household tasks, such as cleaning, laundry, and home organisationTransporting participants to various locations, including medical appointments, social events, and shopping tripsRequirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent qualification
- Current Medication Endorsement or ability to attain
- NDIS Worker Induction & Orientation Certificate
- Unrestricted NSW Drivers Licence
- NSW Working with Vulnerable People Check
- National Police Check
- Current First Aid & CPR certification
