">About the Role
">We are seeking a highly skilled Content Navigator to join our news team in Darwin. As a key member of our editorial team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the best content can be easily found anytime, anywhere.
">In this role, you will contribute to state news teams by participating in editorial meetings and projects to achieve content goals. You will collaborate with content creators on managing and sharing content while maintaining metadata. You will also assist in selecting and retaining audio-visual content per policies and guidelines, resolve technical and non-technical issues throughout the content lifecycle, improve metadata capture for raw vision feeds from news agencies, create descriptive metadata in Stratus and CoDA on busy news days, and facilitate content access and migration between systems (Stratus, DNL, CoDA) per ABC standards.
">Required Skills and Qualifications
">To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate relevant qualifications or experience in Library/Archives/Preservation/Broadcast, knowledge of content management principles across various media formats, understanding of content value for re-use and production, skilled in metadata quality assurance and application across systems, strong problem-solving and time management skills, excellent communication and teamwork abilities, and passion for diverse, authentic content representing Australian communities.
">Salary
">Circa $69K to $77K plus 15.4% ABC Nominated Super. The salary is inclusive of superannuation, which ensures a competitive total remuneration package.
