Senior Sales Executive

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Sales Executive to lead our sales strategy and execution for exotic animal feed. The successful candidate will work closely with distributors, retailers, zoos, and wildlife organizations to expand market presence and achieve growth targets.

The Role:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet revenue and growth targets.
  • Build and manage relationships with zoos, wildlife parks, aquariums, breeders, and specialty retailers.
  • Identify new markets and distribution opportunities, including international expansion.
  • Lead negotiations with key accounts and strategic partners.
  • Mentor and guide a sales team, driving performance through clear KPIs.
  • Collaborate with product, nutrition, and logistics teams to deliver value-driven solutions.
  • Monitor competitor activity, industry trends, and regulatory developments to shape strategy.

Requirements:

  • 10–15 years of progressive sales experience, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Proven success in animal nutrition, agribusiness, pet food, or exotic animal feed markets.
  • Experience in international markets and distributor management is highly desirable.
  • Exceptional commercial and negotiation skills, with a proven track record of delivering growth.
  • Passion for animals, wildlife, and conservation, with the ability to communicate technical knowledge in a clear, customer-focused way.
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills.
