The role of Chief Business Operations Officer is a crucial position at our company, responsible for overseeing the day-to-day business operations. This includes managing customer support, community building, subscriptions, and operating rhythm.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support: Build the support function from scratch to ensure every customer feels heard and cared for.">
  • Community: Create a space where users connect, share, and stick around.">
  • Subscriptions: Maintain App Store and RevenueCat/Stripe cleanliness and reliability — pricing, refunds, promos, and flows.">
  • Lifecycle: Run onboarding, email, and push campaigns that activate and retain users.">
  • Operating Rhythm: Lead the weekly heartbeat — KPIs, team meetings, launch checklists, postmortems.">
  • Team Building: Help hire and coach future team members as the company grows.">

Requirements:

This role requires someone who loves creating order out of chaos, has built support or community functions before, and understands consumer subscription apps. The ideal candidate will be calm under pressure, clear in communication, and thrive on rhythm and consistency.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience at a consumer app in wellness, productivity, or education.">
  • Familiarity with tools like Intercom, Braze/Customer.io, Amplitude, Stripe, Discord.">
  • Some light analytics skills (SQL or dashboards) to guide decisions.">
  • A proven story of building something from zero and turning it into a durable system.">
