Job Summary

We are seeking skilled Mechanical Technicians to perform maintenance and repair tasks on fixed plant rotating equipment. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of mechanical systems and the ability to work independently.

About the Role
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on fixed plant rotating equipment, including pulleys, gearboxes, and electrical motors.
  • Conduct inspections and testing to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve equipment performance and reduce downtime.
  • Work collaboratively with other technicians and supervisors to achieve team goals.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintenance of Fixed Plant rotating equipment including Pulleys, Gearboxes & Electrical drive Motors.
  • Following specific maintenance strategies and procedures.
  • Overriding commitment to health, safety, environment, and sustainable development.
  • Ensuring that all documentation and data entry is accurately completed.
  • Sharing experience as a subject matter expert to improve team capability.
Requirements:
  • Trade Certificate in Mechanical Fitting or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in fixed plant rotating equipment, including pulleys, gearboxes, and electrical motors.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
