Assistant Store Manager Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Store Manager to oversee and supervise daily store operations.

The ideal candidate will have previous supervisory experience and be ready to take on new challenges. They will possess strong leadership skills, a good work ethic, and the ability to manage a team and delegate tasks efficiently.

This role requires someone with mechanical/automotive parts knowledge, preferably with retail or trade experience, including sales, wholesale, and/or workshop operations. The candidate should be flexible with availability and hold a valid driver's license.

As an Assistant Store Manager, you will cultivate and develop your team members' skills, leverage your passion for genuine service to create memorable experiences for customers, maintain a safe work environment as a safety leader, set a positive example for your team, and perform opening and closing responsibilities.

About You
  • You will demonstrate strong leadership and a good work ethic.
  • You will show ability to manage a team and delegate tasks efficiently.
  • You will prioritize retail or trade experience, including sales, wholesale, and/or workshop operations.
  • You will have mechanical/automotive parts knowledge (ideally).
  • You will be flexible with availability and hold a valid driver's license.
  • You will meet physical requirements for handling products of a heavy nature.
