Project Management Teacher

Cleveland High School is seeking a Project Management Teacher to join our team. As an Activity Coordinator and CTE Teacher, you will have the opportunity to teach project management courses, guide Associated Student Body (ASB) officers, and coordinate student activities and athletics.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Teaching project management courses to high school students;
  • Guiding ASB officers in their roles and responsibilities;
  • Coordinating student activities and athletics, including scheduling events and supervising staff;
  • Overseeing ASB activities, ensuring compliance with rules and regulations;
  • Administering budgets, ordering equipment and supplies, and maintaining accurate records;
  • Facilitating goal-setting and objective development for activities;
  • Providing instructional support to non-certificated personnel.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A valid teacher's certification with a CTE endorsement in project management;
  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent industry background;
  • Academic preparation or experience working with diverse student populations;
  • Proficiency in effective communication, coordination, and time management;
  • Ability to adapt and modify techniques for effectiveness;
  • Knowledge of student safety issues and instruction in sports;
  • Ability to provide and maintain an effective learning environment;
  • Supervisory and instructional skills;
  • Fairness and consistency when working with students.
