Senior Technical Drafter Position

We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Drafter to join our team.

This role will be responsible for providing high-quality technical drawings and designs for various projects. As a Senior Technical Drafter, you will work closely with project managers and engineers to ensure that all designs meet the required standards and deadlines.

You will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from concept to completion, and contribute to the development of innovative solutions. Our company values creativity, teamwork, and continuous improvement, and we are looking for someone who shares these values.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of technical drawing software, such as AutoCAD and MicroStation. You will also need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work well under pressure.

Responsibilities include:

  • Creating high-quality technical drawings and designs for various projects
  • Working closely with project managers and engineers to ensure that all designs meet the required standards and deadlines
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and MicroStation
  • 5 years or more experience as a Senior Design Drafter – specialising in High Voltage Primary Systems
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to liaise with client engineers, suppliers and subcontractors
  • Demonstrated experience in interpreting and implementing design information provided by Primary Design, Civil Design and Project Engineers
