Job Overview
About the RoleWe are seeking a skilled Architectural Drafter to join our team. As a key member of our design department, you will be responsible for producing high-quality construction drawings and collaborating with architects, engineers, and other disciplines to deliver integrated designs.
Key Responsibilities- Creating detailed construction drawings using ArchiCAD, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and details
- Revising drawings based on feedback from architects, engineers, and construction teams to ensure compliance with relevant building codes, standards, and regulations
- Coordinating with civil and structural engineers, planners, and other disciplines to ensure seamless project delivery
- Assisting architects in design development and documentation phases, including preparing conceptual sketches and 3D models to communicate design ideas
- 5+ years' experience in low-rise residential, townhouse, or project home drafting
- Proficiency in ArchiCAD with strong documentation skills
- Solid understanding of Australian Standards and building codes
- Excellent communication and coordination skills, with ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
