About the Job
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Architectural Drafter to produce accurate and detailed drawings for buildings, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and details using ArchiCAD software.
The successful candidate will have strong documentation skills and be able to work independently and collaboratively within a team to deliver high-quality, compliant documentation.
This is a permanent, full-time position with a competitive salary package and excellent company culture in a supportive team environment.
Responsibilities
- Producing construction drawings for buildings using ArchiCAD software
- Revising drawings based on feedback from architects, engineers & Construction team
- Ensuring drawings comply with relevant building codes, standards, and regulations
- Coordinating with other disciplines such as civil and structural engineers, planners etc. for integrated designs
- Assisting Architects in the design development and documentation phases
- Preparing conceptual sketches and 3D models to communicate design ideas
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 5+ years' experience in low-rise residential, townhouse, or project home drafting
- Proficiency in ArchiCAD with strong documentation skills
- Solid understanding of Australian Standards and building codes
- Excellent communication and coordination skills
