About the RoleThe key objective of this position is to secure funding and sponsorship for City events by fostering relationships with corporate entities and commercial partners.
Main Responsibilities- Manage event development, contract negotiation, and stakeholder engagement to maximise economic and tourism benefits.
- Build and maintain partnerships with external stakeholders to drive business growth and development.
- Tertiary qualifications in Event Management or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in event development, management, and evaluation.
- Well-developed contract management skills, including tender processes and procurement protocols.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- A competitive salary range of $99,138 - $106,623.
- 12% superannuation with the option to co-contribute up to 5%.
