Global Inventory Management Specialist

Maximize Your Impact in the World of Supply Chain Management

We are seeking a highly skilled Global Inventory Management Specialist to play a pivotal role in ensuring that inventory levels, vendor relationships, and logistics are effectively managed to meet business objectives.

  • Develop and implement demand and supply planning strategies for service parts portfolio within EMEA ANZ Planning organization.
  • Cultivate effective inventory management, vendor relationships, and logistics to drive business growth.
  • Collaborate with vendors and product managers to facilitate smooth launch of new parts into supply chain operations.
  • Evaluate vendor performances, proactively resolve issues, and identify areas for improvement.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage purchase orders and vendor supplies to maintain optimal inventory levels, meet back-order targets, and fulfill daily operational requirements.
  2. Conduct thorough serviceability reviews and place last-time buy orders as needed.
  3. Maintain efficient communication with vendors to manage backlog, ensure timely deliveries, and coordinate smooth operations.
  4. Analyze potential risks related to excess inventory and take immediate action to maintain optimal inventory levels.
  5. Coordinate inventory transfers between distribution centers to meet demand and operational requirements.
  6. Verify forecast inconsistencies and collaborate with sales teams to ensure alignment and accuracy.
  7. Ensure data consistency and accuracy for inventory and supply chain operations by maintaining and updating systems.
  8. Establish and update planning parameters: SKU status, safety stock, MOQ & vendor lead time.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated expertise in Inventory Management/Vendor Relations/Purchasing or a related field.
  • Passionate about Supply Chain and customer-focused.
  • Exhibit strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Adept in advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience working in an international environment (advantageous).
  • Lean and Continuous Improvement mindset.
  • Working knowledge of ERP and planning systems.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
