We are hosting an open day for Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses and Care Assistants who are seeking a challenging role in aged care.

Event Details
  • Date: To be confirmed
  • Location: Bishop Tyrell Place - Taree NSW
  • Time: Approximately 2-3 hours commencing at 10am

This event will give you the opportunity to meet with staff and take a tour of our Bishop Tyrell Place Aged Care facility.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, candidates must hold the relevant qualifications and experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Actively promote positive workplace culture
  • Consistent delivery of person-centred care to residents in our facilities
  • Observe confidentiality matters at all times associated with documentation and communications
  • Achieve compliance with Aged Care Standards
  • Work effectively as an individual and within a team
About You
  • Certificate III/IV in Individual Support and Ageing for Care Assistants
  • OR Registered or Enrolled Nurse with current registration under the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • OR Certificate IV - Leisure + Health (CPR required)
  • Current First Aid Certificate (ongoing requirement)
  • An ability to work effectively as an individual and within a team
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to accurately document resident's care/progress
