About the Role

We're seeking enthusiastic and caring individuals to join our team as part-time trainees in aged care. This opportunity is available at our Aged Care Centre in Marco Polo Woonona.

This exciting program includes a Certificate III in Individual Support delivered by ITeC Academy, combined with on-the-job experience and secure employment in the rapidly growing aged care sector. The commitment period is a minimum of 24 months.

To Be Successful You Will Have

  • A willingness to undertake the Certificate III in Individual Support qualification
  • A minimum commitment of 20 hours per week (combining work and study), including Thursday as a dedicated study day
  • A big heart - being empathetic, adaptable, and passionate about supporting older Australians to live their best lives
  • A desire to start your career in the aged care sector
  • Flexibility and availability to work shifts, including weekends, late afternoons, and evenings
  • Basic internet knowledge and access to the internet
  • Basic digital literacy skills and ability to use a computer
  • Basic reading and writing skills to complete assessments
  • Owning a computer or device to meet course requirements
