Restaurant Supervisor

Job Description:

  • A restaurant supervisor is responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service, maintaining high standards of food quality, and overseeing the day-to-day operations of a busy restaurant.
  • As a key member of the management team, you will assist in implementing policies and procedures to drive business growth and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Assisting the retail manager with day-to-day operations across multiple outlets with a focus on optimizing revenue and productivity.

Key Duties:

  • Lead a team of staff to deliver prompt, friendly, and exceptional customer service.
  • Coordinate the front-of-house team's daily operations, including rostering and training.
  • Ensure a fun and energetic working environment by mentoring and training staff members.
  • Optimize team members' rosters to increase revenue and productivity.
  • Address guest feedback in a timely manner to ensure an excellent customer experience.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated previous experience in a similar restaurant or retail environment.
  • Experience leading a team, identifying opportunities for improvement, training, and developing staff.
  • Good knowledge of Melbourne's food and beverage scene.
  • Excellent communication skills to confidently lead team briefing sessions.
  • Experience with online booking systems.
  • Well-groomed and professional appearance with attention to detail.
  • Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate.
