This role involves managing a portfolio of self-managed super fund clients, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
Applicants will need to demonstrate strong knowledge of SMSF regulations and compliance requirements, as well as the ability to deliver practical and strategic advice on SMSF matters.
The ideal candidate will be able to build strong relationships with clients, stakeholders and colleagues, and will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities will include:
- Managing a portfolio of SMSF clients, including preparation of accounts and tax returns.
- Providing expert advisory services on SMSF matters, including contributions, pensions and investment strategies.
- Collaborating closely with partners, directors and managers in a supportive team environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Applicants for this role will need to demonstrate:
- A minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in accounting and tax compliance for SMSF clients.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, stakeholders and colleagues.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to deliver practical and strategic advice on SMSF matters.
- Proficiency with BGL360 and familiarity with SMSF Class administration software is desirable.
