SMSF Accountant - Top 100 Chartered Firm | Melbourne CBD

Our client is a highly respected, well-established Chartered Accounting Firm based in the heart of Melbourne's CBD.

With continued growth and an expanding client base, the firm is seeking an SMSF Accountant to join their dedicated SMSF division.

Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Prepare financial statements, tax returns, and audit documentation for Self Managed Super funds.
  • Liaising with clients, auditors, and stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate document preparation
  • Supporting junior team members
  • Contributing to process improvements and best-practice procedures
About you:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • CA or CPA qualified (or near completion)
  • 3-5 years' experience in SMSF accounting
  • Knowledge of SMSF legislation, compliance, and regulatory requirements
  • Good communication skills
  • Proficient in SMSF Class or BGL360
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a client-focused approach
