This is a key position within the Finance team at ViacomCBS, supporting the Senior Finance Manager Ad Sales in covering all areas of revenue, linear advertising, digital advertising, affiliates, and other revenue streams. The role involves working closely with operational stakeholders and the wider Finance team.
Key Responsibilities- Reporting
- Regular Key Performance Indicator (KPI) and sales reporting
- Digital revenue modelling and analysis
- External reporting to various digital partners, interacting with internal business managers to ensure contractual obligations are met
- Month-end review, accruals, and preparing month-end journals for approval
- Manage commercial integration project reporting and balance sheet reconciliations
- External revenue reporting to industry associations and third-party auditors
- Forecasting & Budgeting
- Monthly risks and opportunities process for linear and digital revenue streams, and monthly forecast reporting
- Ownership and delivery of the annual budget process, involving detailed digital revenue modelling, and operational and capital cost analysis
- Audit Queries
- Assist the Senior Finance Manager Ad Sales and reporting team in addressing any audit queries
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, or a related field
- Studying for a professional accounting certification, such as CIMA, CA, or CPA, is highly regarded
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a broad range of finance roles
- Strong business English language skills, both oral and written
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Experience with SAP and Longview is an advantage
- Experience in the media and entertainment industry is highly valued
- A proactive approach and willingness to learn
- Ability to demonstrate independence and ownership of assigned tasks, meeting deadlines
- A team player with a cooperative approach
