Job Description

  • You will deliver engaging lessons aligned with the Australian Curriculum in Design and Technologies and guide students through hands-on projects using design thinking, engineering principles, and digital tools.
  • You will create a nurturing and ordered learning environment that is learner-centered, supportive, cooperative, and aligned with relevant curriculum policies, documents, and practices.
  • You will collaborate with teachers and staff to contribute to the professional life of the school and foster a positive school culture.
  • You will engage proactively in professional learning to enhance student outcomes.
  • You will establish positive relationships in the pastoral care of students and support their spiritual and moral development.
  • You will ensure that the teachings and values of the Catholic Church underpin learning and teaching.

Requirements

  • Relevant contemporary skills and experience in creating a supportive, learner-focused classroom aligned with the Australian Curriculum.
  • Expertise in designing and delivering effective curriculum programs in line with the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers.
  • A commitment to engaging with colleagues, students, and parents/carers to enrich learning experiences and achieve the best educational outcomes.
  • A passion for supporting students' spiritual and moral development.
  • Catholic faith and eligibility to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment.
