Key Role in Infrastructure Delivery

This is an exciting opportunity to work on planning and delivery of new and emerging projects, including the Infrastructure Delivery Program (IDP), for the upgrade of four sewage treatment plants.

As a key member of the project team, you will be responsible for managing master and detailed planning for sewage treatment plants, bioresource and biosolids management infrastructure. You will also develop strategic business cases through multicriteria assessment to identify scope, schedule, budget and risks to inform sewage treatment future capital works programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Developing strategic plans for the delivery of new and emerging projects, including IDP, to ensure the upgrade of four sewage treatment plants.
  • Managing consultants, teams, and contractors for specific projects to deliver quality results.
  • Preparing reports and presentations, including internal reports to management or Council; external reports to government agencies and funding bodies; and technical presentations for internal/external stakeholders.
  • Reviewing asset management plans to renew sewage treatment infrastructure and contribute to integrated and strategic catchment planning.
  • Investigating process bottlenecks and deficiencies, process improvement options and optimisation for sewage treatment plants, bioresource and biosolids management infrastructure.
  • Monitoring and evaluating emerging technologies relevant to the sewage treatment industry; evaluating and recommending innovative solutions to improve plant capabilities and address industry challenges.
