This role presents a unique chance to make a positive difference in the lives of individuals with disability, injury, or illness.

We are seeking a skilled professional who will build relationships with local employers, understand their workforce needs, and support them in hiring people with a disability.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Support Employers in Ipswich and Logan Regions
  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the local labour market and emerging industries, securing ongoing employment opportunities
  • Proactively identify and develop new employer relationships, providing tailored recruitment solutions
  • Help employers adapt their processes or roles to accommodate candidates with specific needs and maximize productivity and benefits
  • Engage job-ready candidates and match them with employers through referrals, job carving, and reverse marketing to achieve sustainable outcomes
  • Collaborate with Employment Consultants and Ongoing Support Consultants to build opportunities in relevant industries and provide post-placement support to participants and their employers
  • Achieve or exceed all Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and apply an outcome-focused approach to the role

About You:

The ideal candidate will have relevant qualifications in areas such as Employment Services, Community Services, or other relevant fields. Previous experience in employment services, including barrier management, reverse marketing, placement of candidates into employment, and provision of post-placement support, will be highly regarded. Demonstrated experience in business development, relationship building, and team collaboration is essential.
