The OpportunityThis position plays a vital role in supporting sustainable employment outcomes for individuals. The In-Work Support Mentor provides ongoing guidance and practical assistance to participants and employers to address workplace challenges and promote long-term success.
Your Key Responsibilities- Focus on each participant's individual needs and aspirations for employment
- Provide tailored post-placement support to help participants maintain sustainable employment
- Mentor participants and provide specialized assistance to address workplace or personal barriers
- Engage with the local community and stakeholders to identify growth opportunities
- Monitor placement progress and communicate risks to relevant team members
- Run and analyze participants' reported hours and income, supporting accurate reporting and compliance
- Maintain clear records of participants' employment, services provided, and support
- Communicate proactively with team members regarding job loss, potential job loss, or significant reduction in hours
- Represent our organization at networking events and within the community, upholding our Mission, Vision, and Values
This is a full-time position operating in the Toowoomba region.
