Job Title: Services Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Services Assistant at the Barossa Hills Fleurieu Local Health Network.

Job Summary:

The Services Assistant will be responsible for providing a timely, efficient, and effective service in the catering and cleaning of the health unit. This includes the preparation, service, and delivery of food to clients, as well as general housekeeping duties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and serve food to clients in a timely and efficient manner
  • Conduct general housekeeping duties, including cleaning and maintaining the health unit
  • Assist with laundry duties as required
  • Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to provide a high-quality service
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working in a healthcare environment, preferably in a kitchen or cleaning role
  • Food handling certificates are highly regarded
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • High level of empathy and compassion, with a person-centred approach
  • Availability to work rotating roster, including weekends
