Job Title: Services Assistant

SA Health is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Services Assistant to join our team at Mount Barker District Soldiers' Memorial Hospital. As a Services Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing a timely, efficient, and effective service to our patients and staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare, serve, and deliver food to clients in a safe and hygienic manner.
  • Perform general housekeeping duties, including cleaning and maintaining the health unit.
  • Undertake laundry duties as required.
  • Work collaboratively with the kitchen and cleaning teams to ensure a smooth and efficient service.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working in a healthcare environment, preferably in a kitchen or cleaning role.
  • Food handling certificates are highly regarded.
  • Ability to demonstrate empathy and compassion when interacting with patients and staff.
  • Reliability, hard work, and a willingness to work as part of a team.
  • Availability to work rotating shifts, including weekends.
