Job Title: Accounts Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounts Officer to join our team.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our financial engine by managing accounts payable and receivable, processing payroll, and maintaining accurate financial records.

You will work closely with our management team to identify areas for improvement and implement process changes to increase efficiency and productivity.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and has a passion for numbers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing and reconciliations
  • Process payroll, including tax calculations and employee benefits
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers and journals
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Develop and implement process changes to increase efficiency and productivity

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A qualification in Business Administration or a related field
  • 3+ years' experience in a similar role
  • Solid experience with Xero or other accounting software
  • Intermediate Excel skills
  • A sharp eye for detail and a love of accuracy
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
