Bush Regeneration Specialist

We are seeking part-time and casual professionals to fill various Bush Regeneration Specialist positions across the Greater Brisbane Region, Sunshine Coast, and the Fraser Coast.

Our team excels at delivering high-quality vegetation management and restoration projects for local governments, primarily within the mining sector.

Essential Skills:
  • Certificate III in Conservation and Land Management or an environmental-related discipline
  • Management experience is highly desirable
  • SEQ weed identification and native plant identification skills are essential
  • A Construction Induction Card is mandatory
  • ACDC Licence and demonstrated experience in high-volume herbicide spraying units and back-pack sprayers are required
  • A Level 1 Chainsaw Licence (Level 2 desirable) ensures safe working practices
  • A First Aid Certificate is advantageous
  • A Class C driver's License is necessary
  • Adequate physical fitness is required for this role
  • Experience and a passion for practical environmental restoration and weed control are essential
  • The ability to work in remote bushlands under various weather conditions and terrain is crucial
Bonus Skills:
  • Skid Steer Loader Operations enhance our team's capabilities
  • Tractor Operations further add to our team's versatility
  • A Class MR driver's License is beneficial
  • A Boat License expands our team's range of expertise

Due to the location of sites, own reliable transport and a valid license are a must. Occasional work away from home is required.
