About the Opportunity

This is an exceptional chance for an experienced Site Manager to take ownership of a high-quality childcare new build project.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage construction programs
  • Maintain strict adherence to BCA and WHS regulations
  • Oversee site establishment, testing, and inspections
  • Lead subcontractor inductions and daily operations
  • Maintain detailed reporting and communication with stakeholders

We're looking for someone with broad technical knowledge—structural, carpentry, joinery, and fit-out experience—and a track record of successful delivery on commercial new builds over $2 million, particularly in the Newcastle or Hunter region.

What We're Looking For:
  • Minimum 4+ years' experience in a Site Manager role on similar commercial projects
  • Trade qualified in Carpentry
  • Strong leadership, delegation, and communication skills
  • A hands-on, 'lead from the front' attitude
  • Calm under pressure with a positive, can-do approach

The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills and be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
