Business Solution Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Business Solution Specialist to join our team in Melbourne for a 12-month fixed-term position.

The role involves evaluating processes and methods used in existing ICT systems, proposing modifications or new systems to meet user needs based on specifications and documentation.

As a Business Solution Specialist at Kapsch TrafficCom, you will be responsible for developing technical offers based on corporate solutions and alliances in areas such as tolling and urban mobility. You will collaborate with clients to contribute to their strategy development, leveraging practical knowledge in toll and/or traffic areas.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage regional solution portfolios: identify and develop alliances, work with users to formulate business requirements, transfer knowledge from the portfolio to the region, and recommend optimal business practices and system functionality.
  • Collaborate in local and global pre-sales and sales activities: visit clients, identify business processes, analyze client requirements, create user documentation, and conduct training classes.
  • Develop project plans using project management methodologies, principles, and techniques.
  • Support sales processes and identify business models.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher qualification.
  • At least five years of relevant experience within the ITS industry or similar industry.
  • Experience working alongside Centres of Excellence like Solution Consulting, Products, and Services.
  • Able to work flexibly, onsite or remotely.
