About the Role

This is a full-time position that requires strong clinical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work autonomously as well as within a team environment. As an Occupational Therapy Consultant, you will have the flexibility to manage your own day, with the support of a close-knit team of driven and energetic healthcare professionals.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing expert occupational therapy services to clients, including case management, assessments, and return to work planning
  • Working collaboratively with employers, employees, medical professionals, and allied health professionals to develop and implement injury prevention and workplace education programs
  • Conducting functional capacity evaluations, worksite assessments, ergonomic assessments, and activities of daily living assessments
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must possess:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy from a recognized institution
  • Full registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • A desire to problem-solve and think innovatively
  • A passion for injury prevention and return to work outcomes

$90,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience
