We're looking for a Design and Construction Lead to join our Workplace Experience (WX) team. In this role, you'll be responsible for leading the planning, design, and construction of major workplace projects across our global portfolio. This will include refreshes, global initiatives, full build outs, and long-term planning.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing design direction and shaping office spaces to meet our standards
  • Oversight of IT, AV, and Security systems within the workspace
  • Budget management and tracking global project expenses
  • Developing workplace quality standards
  • Supporting project and site due diligence
  • Engaging stakeholders and communicating project updates
  • Collaborating with internal teams and building strong relationships
  • Traveling globally and participating in out-of-timezone calls
  • Promoting and demonstrating Xero values

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • 8+ years of experience in workplace design, construction, and project management
  • Proven delivery of a range of workplace projects from full building workplaces to single-floor offices
  • Experience managing global projects across timezones
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Ability to develop and deliver presentations and reports
  • Contract management experience
