Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Real Estate Attorney to join our dynamic team.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in real estate law and proficiency with PEXA, ideally gained in a top or mid-tier legal environment.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assisting with commercial real estate transactions from start to finish – with supervision as needed.
  • Preparing and reviewing contracts, option deeds, leases, and other legal documents.
  • Managing settlements through PEXA, ensuring all transactions are completed accurately and efficiently.
  • Liaising with stamping agents for Office of State Revenue requirements.
  • Working across the team in a collaborative way.
  • Liaising with clients, agents, banks, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth transactions.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 6-12 years of post-qualification experience as a lawyer.
  • Proven experience in real estate law, with a solid understanding of real estate transactions.
  • Proficiency with the PEXA platform is essential.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to pass knowledge to junior team members.
