Key Responsibilities- Manage all phases of a project, from initial establishment to handover and project closure.
- Coordinate and lead project teams to achieve maximum contributions and outcomes for all stakeholders.
- Establish and maintain Health, Safety, and Environmental systems, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
- Manage the commercial success of the project, representing the client's best interests.
- Maintain positive client relationships and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Work with project teams to achieve best possible performance and quality outcomes.
- Manage pre-design, design, construction, and completion stages of the project.
- Establish and adhere to project programs, ensuring timely delivery.
- Represent JLL and promote the company throughout the project.
- Provide accurate and timely project reporting.
- Prior experience in Defence-related infrastructure projects is advantageous.
- Ability to travel to manage projects across the Defence Estate.
- Ensure Safety and Environmental Plans are in place and complied with.
- Maximize project profitability for JLL.
- Implement JLL's 3-phase delivery process and activities.
- Ensure repeat business from existing clients.
- Assemble and lead consultants, contractors, and suppliers to achieve best possible performance.
- Effectively manage multiple projects.
- Implement Commonwealth procurement processes and contracts.
- Establish project organization structures for reporting, communication, and working procedures.
- Develop detailed project programs with clear milestones and objectives.
- Establish project budgets and manage expenditure to achieve completion within budget.
- Manage professional consultants for design and documentation.
- Carry out value engineering, buildability analysis, and design reviews to minimize risk and maximize outcomes.
- Administer contracts with vendors professionally and in accordance with legal requirements.
- Produce detailed monthly reports covering safety, environment, program, resources, budgets, risk, and profitability.
- Assist Defence Account State Lead in preparing PCG reports and attending PCG meetings.
- Participate in weekly project meetings as required.
- Review and negotiate project requirements with authorities.
- Manage the project's construction phase and ensure JLL provides appropriate supervision.
- Implement quality control systems.
- Identify, mitigate, and report on project risks to ensure timely and budget-friendly delivery.
- Utilize JLL technology, including Project Home Page (PHP), Prolog, and Atlas.
- Maintain positive lines of communication with clients and stakeholders.
- Prepare reports, meeting minutes, and correspondence in a timely, concise, and accurate manner.
- Ability to manage project delivery from inception to closure.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and Microsoft Project.
- Experience in managing cost reporting systems such as Prolog.
- Understanding of each project's legal environment, including planning, commercial aspects, and delivery constraints.
- Ability to carry out commercial negotiations with contractors, suppliers, consultants, and authorities.
- Understanding of JLL's obligations for complying with AS 4801, AS 14001, and Environmental Health and Safety legislation.
- Ability to assess client's basic needs and project constraints.
