Job Description

The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Coordinator role is a key position within our organization. As an NDIS Coordinator, you will work collaboratively with the Local Area Coordination team to support the implementation of the NDIS.

Your primary responsibilities will include providing information linkage and capacity building support to communities, working with individuals and families to clarify their goals, exercise choice and control, and participate in the community.

You will be responsible for completing all planning pathway tasks with participants in a timely manner, engaging with service providers, and operating within our policies and procedures.

Additionally, you will make an active commitment to team development, participate in staff meetings and development, and behave in a way that contributes to a workplace free from discrimination, harassment, and bullying.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A relevant qualification in disability/community services or 2 years' experience in working with people with a disability.
  • A relevant tertiary qualification in disability or community services.
