We're seeking a talented Head Chef to join our team and help drive our culinary vision. As a key member of our management team, you'll be responsible for overseeing all aspects of kitchen operations, including menu development, staff training, and food preparation.

Your Key Responsibilities

  1. Lead and manage a high-performing kitchen team, ensuring smooth daily operations and excellent teamwork.
  2. Develop and implement innovative menus that showcase our commitment to using high-quality, locally sourced ingredients.
  3. Collaborate with our Owner and Executive Chef to drive our culinary vision and ensure consistency across all menu items.
  4. Manage daily food preparation, production, and presentation to meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  5. Control stock, manage suppliers, and ensure all inventory procedures are followed to maintain optimal food costs.
  6. Implement and uphold kitchen cleaning and maintenance standards, ensuring hygiene and safety compliance.
  7. Supervise purchasing and receiving processes, ensuring proper documentation and waste reduction.
  8. Provide coaching and feedback to kitchen staff to ensure ongoing development and team cohesion.
  9. Ensure kitchen equipment is well-maintained and that all staff are trained on proper usage.

What We're Looking For

  1. A proven track record as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a high-volume, elevated-dining restaurant.
  2. An in-depth understanding of local markets and guest preferences.
  3. Exceptional leadership skills, with a proven ability to develop and motivate a talented culinary team.
  4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with the front-of-house team.
  5. A passion for using high-quality, locally-sourced ingredients and driving sustainability in our kitchen practices.
  6. A commitment to maintaining the highest standards of food safety and hygiene.
