Our client is a large, boutique agency that services and dominates the South Sydney marketplace. They are incredibly established in the local area and are known for their superior service, unrivalled expertise and commitment to exceeding their client's expectations.

A rare opportunity has become available for an experienced Senior Property Manager to step up and lead the property management team, or for a gun Department Head to make their mark, overseeing a team of 6 Property Managers.

**The Position**
In the role of Department Head your main responsibilities will include:

- Oversee a team of 6 property managers
- Manage client relationships with landlords and deal with escalated issues
- Streamline processes and procedures within the department
- Oversee the functionality of systems used by the department and provide training where needed
- Conduct team meetings, one-on-one's and performance reviews to ensure the team is operating at the highest level
- Ensure personal and team KPI's that are set are adhered to
- Assist the team with NCAT preparation and bond claims
- Manage best practice to ensure the property management department Is fully compliant

**The Person**
- A strong background in property management, either in a Senior PM capacity or as a Department Head/Team Leader
- Current NSW Certificate of Registration and Real Estate License
- Proven people management experience and the ability to lead by example and motivate a team
- Extensive knowledge of the Residential Tenancies Act
- A first-class communicator with a professional demeanour who can resolve conflict
- Strong work ethic and top-notch problem solving skills
- Valid drivers license and reliable vehicle
- Immaculate personal presentation is a given
