Key Responsibilities- Work collaboratively with project managers and project officers to co-design and implement projects that improve healthcare for people with intellectual disability.
- Develop and maintain accessible documents and resources that meet the needs of people with intellectual disability.
- Test and provide feedback on documents and resources to ensure they are clear and effective.
- Contribute to the development of project plans and strategies that align with the Centre's goals and objectives.
- Work closely with the project team to identify and address barriers to healthcare access and equity for people with intellectual disability.
- Lived experience of intellectual disability.
- Passion for improving healthcare for people with intellectual disability.
- Understanding and/or experience of working in projects and with project teams.
- Confidence to ask questions, share ideas, and discuss issues with other people with intellectual disability, families, advocates, and health service providers.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Good organisation and time management skills.
- Ability or interest to learn some computer skills.
- A dynamic and supportive work environment.
