Job Overview

This senior financial analyst position is a key contributor to the financial planning and analysis function within a broad portfolio of public sector entities. The role requires a strategic thinker with experience in TM1, Prime, and SAP to drive budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis during key reporting periods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review long-term budgets across departments to ensure alignment with business objectives
  • Validate full-year forecasts for the current financial year to inform executive decision-making
  • Assess additional budget requests in TM1 to guarantee business case accuracy and alignment
  • Deliver actionable insights and analysis to support strategic planning and resource allocation
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to meet key deadlines and deliverables
  • Reconcile and interpret complex financial statements across multiple systems to provide accurate and timely information
Key Requirements
  • Demonstrated FP&A experience, preferably in government or large-scale portfolios to leverage industry expertise
  • Strong background in financial accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and finance systems to ensure technical proficiency
  • Proficiency in SAP and TM1 is highly desirable to streamline processes and enhance productivity
  • Familiarity with Prime and IBM Analytics is required to stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices
  • Excellent analytical skills and stakeholder engagement capabilities to effectively communicate results and recommendations
