Job Description

The Clinical Pharmacy team at Launceston General Hospital is a dynamic and multidisciplinary group committed to delivering innovative, patient-centred care across inpatient and outpatient settings. They collaborate closely with medical, nursing, and allied health professionals to ensure safe and effective medication management.


This role requires strong clinical leadership skills and the ability to provide advice and support across a broad range of clinical pharmacy issues to internal and external stakeholders.


The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.


They will also have a strong commitment to ongoing professional development and continuous learning.


About the Role:


  • Provide expert clinical pharmacy services to internal and external stakeholders
  • Participate in the Tasmanian clinical pharmacy management team
  • Lead the design, operation, and evaluation of clinical pharmacy services
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures
  • Support professional development and training initiatives


Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:


  • A relevant degree in pharmacy or a related field
  • Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Experience working in a clinical pharmacy setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A strong commitment to ongoing professional development and continuous learning
