As a specialist in wound and stomal therapy, you will provide advanced clinical skills and expertise in the management of complex wounds, bowel and bladder conditions, urology surgery, and pressure injury care. You will work closely with paediatric surgical teams to deliver high-quality care to children with complex needs.
The role requires expert planning and coordination, as well as self-education and support to enhance your skills. Advanced practice in wound care, gastrostomy care, and stomal therapy is essential for delivering exceptional patient outcomes.

You will be accountable for Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) standards, actions, and outcomes of your nursing practice, professional advice given, and activities delegated. Our team provides person-centred care through a network of services and facilities, including tertiary and quaternary care, and health promotion programs for children and young people from across Queensland and northern New South Wales.
