Occupational Therapist Role in Community Settings

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to provide essential services to clients in community and residential aged care settings. This is an exciting opportunity to make a difference in people's lives and work in a dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver OT services to clients across South West Sydney, including Padstow, Hurstville, and Milperra.
  • Assess clients' needs and develop personalized plans to support their independence at home, including home assessments, equipment prescriptions, and modifications.
  • Contribute to the rehabilitation program focusing on post-orthopaedic surgery recovery and improving patients' quality of life.
  • Support clients after hospitalization through the Hospital in the Home program, providing general surgeries support.
About the Ideal Candidate:

To succeed in this role, you should be a fully registered Occupational Therapist with experience in community and residential aged care settings and rehabilitation.

You must be comfortable working independently, providing support to individuals in various care environments, and have a patient-centred approach.

As a mobile OT, you will need to live in South West Sydney or nearby areas and be willing to travel to clients' homes using your own vehicle.
